Join Jennifer McCormack and Narell Neville, from Birdwings Forest School for this workshop that will introduce the safe and thoughtful use of tools in outdoor learning settings.  In this workshop you will explore the practical steps for managing risks when working with tools and fire strikers and discuss how to guide children in these experiences with confidence.  Participants will gain an understanding of how to create risk assessments, what to consider for supervision ratios and procedures, and how to support children's learning while maintaining safety.
