Statewide Webinar with Toni Christie from Childspace

Description

Workshop Title: Rituals: A pathway to self-regulation

Presenter: Toni Christie from Childspace

Rituals are a powerful way of using gestures, actions, and conscious behaviour to bring positive energy and intention to our daily routines and rhythms in early childhood. Within the early childhood setting, and our own daily lives and interactions, rituals assist us in creating a healthy emotional environment. This webinar will illustrate the difference between routines and rituals and inspire us to think more deeply about the daily experiences we are offering our children in early childhood education, their cultural relevance, and the messages of worth they convey to children and families.
