Workshop Title: The Power of Storytelling to Enhance Children's Play

This fun, interactive workshop explores the power of storytelling in enhancing children’s play and learning experiences. Participants will discover how oral storytelling, nursery rhymes and simple songs nurture language development, boost imagination, and encourage social connections. Through playful demonstartions educators and carers will learn to weave stories into everyday play, making learning more memorable and meaningful. Attendees will leave with some hands-on skills and resources to enrich play through the magic of shared stories.
Workshop Title: Connection and Clarity in Action: Behaviour support strategies for real early learning environments
Presenter: Dr Siobhan Kennedy-Costantini.
This interactive session supports educators to respond to big behaviours with confidence, calm and clarity. Grounded in attachment science, developmental psychology and nervous system regulation, the workshop explores how connection can settle the stress response and how clear, kind limits guide behaviour without shame or fear. Educators will leave with practical tools they can use immediately in their rooms to support both children and themselves.
