Description

Elyse Leonard (Amovita): Mastering Vicarious Stress

This introductory session will introduce you to a course that you will be invited to participate in during Terms 1 and 2 2022. Extending on from the 1.5 hour session presented by Elyse in Term 3 we will further explore ‘Vicarious Stress’ which can impact on our work as teachers and educators as we support children and families during times of change and anxiety. Amongst other topics, we will explore the importance of resilience during times of change and uncertainty and discover how the brain sees stress, fatigue and burnout. This session will give you an overview of the course, an idea of the commitment required and the opportunity to interact with Elyse to ask any questions that you may have.
