THRIVE Early Childhood Educator Wellbeing Professional Learning Day
Description
THRIVE Early Childhood Educator Wellbeing Professional Learning Day
With rising demands, increasing workloads, ongoing stress, higher staff turnover, and increasing educator burnout, many early childhood educators are carrying a heavy load and feeling the pressure.
High-quality early childhood education relies on a skilled, supported and sustainable workforce. Research from the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) highlights educator wellbeing as a key factor in workforce retention - educators who feel supported are significantly more likely to remain in their roles, stay within the sector, and recommend a career in ECEC to others. Supporting educator wellbeing is also a central priority of the National Children’s Education and Care Workforce Strategy 2022–2031.
Educator wellbeing truly matters. When educators feel mentally strong, connected and supported, they are best equipped to nurture children’s social and emotional development, build meaningful relationships and support everyone in their services to thrive.
With this in mind, Lady Gowrie QLD Kindy Uplift presents: THRIVE
